- By default, the content of the call is not recorded.
- Picom stores limited metadata such as timestamps, verification and interview results, reviewer identifier and limited necessary notes.

- Refusal of optional recording must not automatically block creation where verification can reasonably proceed without recording.
Full notice
What the call verifies
To create a Secret Community, you must complete a telephone verification call and a short creator-security interview. During the call, Picom may verify:
- That you control the registered telephone number
- That you requested the Secret Community
- That you understand the creator responsibilities
- That the community is not being created for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deceptive purposes
- That you understand Picom’s reporting, moderation and security requirements
What is stored (default: no recording)
By default, the content of the call must not be recorded. Picom stores only limited records such as:
- Call initiated timestamp
- Call completed timestamp
- Verification result
- Interview result
- Reviewer identifier
- Rejection or approval category
- Limited reviewer notes where strictly necessary
- Appeal or re-review status
Reviewer note prohibitions
Do not store unnecessary free-text notes. Reviewer notes must not contain:
- Political opinions
- Religious beliefs
- Health information
- Sexual-life information
- Ethnic-origin information
- Biometric data
- Unrelated personal details
- Personal opinions about the applicant
Future recording (if ever required)
If call recording is required in the future, Picom will create a separate recording notice, document the lawful basis, obtain separate explicit consent where consent is the applicable basis, avoid preselecting consent, provide a non-recorded alternative where legally required, state the recording purpose and retention period, restrict access to authorised personnel, log playback and export, and delete recordings when retention expires. A refusal to optional call recording must not automatically prevent community creation where verification can reasonably be completed without recording.
