Secret Community Creator Responsibilities
Terms creators must accept before submitting a Secret Community creation request, covering accuracy, lawful use, anti-abuse duties and limits of secrecy — without promising absolute confidentiality or end-to-end encryption.

- Communities must not be used for illegal activity, harassment, fraud, phishing or credential theft.

- Secret Communities are not invisible to authorised Picom trust, safety, security and legal personnel.
- Picom does not promise absolute confidentiality and does not claim end-to-end encryption in these terms.
- Serious or repeated violations may lead to suspension, deletion or account restriction.

Acceptance
Before submitting a Secret Community creation request, you must accept these Creator Responsibilities. Acceptance is versioned and logged.
By creating a Secret Community, you confirm that
Your acceptance covers the following responsibilities:
- You are authorised to use the verified telephone number.
- The information you provided is accurate.
- You will not use the community for illegal activity.
- You will not organise harassment, threats, fraud or coordinated abuse.
- You will not distribute malware, phishing links or stolen account credentials.
- You will not request passwords, authentication codes or financial credentials from users.
- You will not evade Picom moderation or security controls.
- You will not create replacement communities to circumvent a restriction.
- You will take reasonable action against rule-violating content reported in your community.
- You understand that Secret Communities are not invisible to Picom’s authorised trust, safety, security and legal personnel.
- You understand that Picom may investigate reports and security incidents.
- You understand that community access may be restricted where required to protect users or comply with law.
- You understand that serious or repeated violations may result in community suspension, deletion or account restriction.
- You will inform members that secrecy does not remove their legal responsibilities.
Honesty about secrecy and encryption
These terms do not describe Secret Communities as end-to-end encrypted. Picom does not promise absolute confidentiality of community content. Other members may copy or redistribute information you share, and authorised Picom personnel may access relevant records for authorised purposes.
