These guidelines apply everywhere in Picom: chat, voice rooms, screen sharing, and — when they launch — radio broadcasts and podcast episodes.
Be respectful
Harassment, hate speech, and personal attacks are not tolerated — in chat, voice, broadcasts, or published episodes.
Keep communities safe
No content that exploits, endangers, or targets minors or vulnerable people. No doxxing or sharing private information.
Broadcast responsibly
Live audio (voice rooms and, when they launch, radio broadcasts) follows the same rules as text. Hosts are responsible for their sessions and have tools to moderate them.
Publish honestly
Podcast episodes and shared media must not contain illegal content, spam, or material you don't have rights to distribute.
No spam or manipulation
Don't flood channels, mass-mention members, or use automation to manipulate feeds and mentions.
Respect community rules
Each community may set stricter rules of its own. Community owners and moderators enforce them with Picom's moderation tools.
Enforcement
Violations can lead to content removal, session termination, or account restrictions. Community moderators handle most issues locally; serious or repeated violations can be reported to the Picom team via the contact page.
